Dental Surgery Assistant
Job Description
- The Dental Assistant (DA) is primarily responsible for assisting the doctor in performing treatment.
- She will be responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of the operatory and the sterilization of all equipment.
- Maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Although the primary role is dental assisting, she must also be familiar with some of the general responsibilities of the receptionist. For example, to make appointments for patients and manage telephone enquiries when the receptionist in not available.

Holidays
The clinic is closed on public holidays. In addition, the clinic will be open for half a day only on the eve of Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year.
Training
On the job training will be provided for those interested but have no or little prior experience.
Our clinic will consider full sponsorship for part-time one year NITEC course in Dental Assisting for candidates that qualify for the course. The entry requirements for the course are:

Salary
Is negotiable and will depend on experience and capability.
Service Increment
Service increment is calculated at 5% of the basic salary.
Annual Wage Supplement
Full time employees shall be eligible for an annual wage supplement of 1 month’s salary for a complete calendar year of service. This will be pro-rated for a shorter length of service (minimum 6 months of service) on the condition that the employee is in service on 31 December of that year, and has not tendered in their resignation.
Variable Bonus
This will be determined on a yearly basis.
